Turcu – sure. And yes, I can see the last file it stops at.
Same happens to me. Stops generating thumbs if there’s a large number set to generate.

I updated to the latest version. Same problem.
I have 9807 images and it made it to 6% or 685 images before timing out. 🙁
Hmm, strange, are you sure you don’t have any other plugin that’s interfering? Also, is your server capable to process all image sizes at a long enough time period of processing (is the image it is crashing on taking for ever to load?)
v 0.9 is coming with a very major upgrade in the plugin core, functionality, way of working, that you’re definitely going to like. It’s not coming very quick though as I am busy with other things. But it’s coming!

I picked a specific date range. Just one month in the year 2008. 354 total images. It stays on processing and doesn’t get through a single file. Looking forward to version 0.9 and hope it helps.
if you have console server access install wp-cli and run:
wp media regenerate
it does the same thing, better, faster.
v 0.9 is no longer an option as this is pro bono work, I moved on to ther things and I don’t have time for it anymore.. sorry
