Looking for file sharing with filterable browsing

What I’m envisioning is something the allows for file and document sharing with filters that operate like a storefront/Amazon for users to narrow down files. Most file manager plugins I’ve found use folders/subfolders which I really don’t like.
The closest i’ve got so far was using woocommerce to create a store of digital items but I don’t want my users to have to go through a cart/checkout to get the files.
Any suggestions?
