  • There is no mention – that I can see – of cost, license ….

    License – non-free, cost – maybe a free personal edition – maybe only hosted, I haven’t decided yet. 🙂

I don’t mean to offend, but if someone wants feedback – which will involve downloading, installing, playing with, spending time using – and the product is then to be sold at a profit to the developer, then what’s in it for those that provide all that feedback ?
Isn’t that close to what caused the Six Apart debacle ?

Not really – six apart has always had a free version for you to play with. I guess you could say I’m even more evil than sixapart. 😀
Or you could go for the point of view that everyone who beta tests gets a free version of the software, gets to play with interesting tools and have some impact on the development of next generation weblogging software.
That said – most people seem to be of the same p.o.v. as yourself – ie, no one who has tested it has given me any comments on the software yet. 🙁

benn: For what it’s worth, I think you are submitting this to be tested and reviewed in the wrong place. Most people who come here are giving WordPress a try or already have selected it as being their software of choice. I think a more constructive place to submit your software are places like http://hotscripts.com/ or even http://opensourcecms.com/ if you decide to provide a free personal use version. This way, people are looking to test new software and will provide some type of feedback.
Also, without a feature list, it’s hard to even give the software a try.
