Feedback Tab in Dashboard

    Hi, I am sorry if this is a very dumb question, but I have a Feedback tab in the left sidebar in wp-admin, and I don’t know why it is there.

    I’ve been running WP since 2.7, and it has always been there to my recollection, but what does it do?

    I would like to be able to show my clients’ feedback on my site, but even if I make up a fake feedback, and then try to preview it, my site says that the post is not found!?!

    Does it make a special type of post? I have a “feedback” contact form on my site, which will email feedback, which I could then place into a “feedback post”, if I knew how to display it….

    I understand that this is a very very stupid question but, what is it there for, and how do I actually use it. I am not aware of having any plugins which placed it there (unless it is part of Jetpack), but I can’t find any.

    Any support searches I do all lead to plugins for feedback, not the tab on the admin page.

    If anyone can help me I would be really appreciative.

    I am not aware of having any plugins which placed it there (unless it is part of Jetpack), but I can’t find any.

    one way to find out is, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    Did you ever resolve this? I have it too and I’d like to use it but can’t find any info as to how to do so. The last time I disabled all my plugins I broke several websites.
