Customizr Max Width for site content

Site: http://nds.allpositiveconsulting.com (this is my dev site for nds.edu)

I think I want to limit the width of the menu/social media area to the max-width of the content above and below (1170px). Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see a setting for it, and I’m not having luck getting it to do what I want through CSS (it’s moving over the top section if I apply a max width).

2 clarifying requirements:
1. Max width for whole header in full size = 1170px.
2. When header is minimized to sticky menu, allow the little menu-bar-three-bar-button (do these have a name?) to sit all the way at the right of the sticky menu section since it’s going to pull stuff out from the right hand side.
