Does WooCommerce Require IPN for PayPal?

    Hi, I’m currently using the PayPal standard checkout with WooCommerce, and I’m not having trouble accepting payments.

    My site doesn’t use an SSL, I strictly use PayPal and simply send my customers to PayPal.com to finish transactions.

    My question is, do I need to enable IPN for my website if I am using WooCommerce as a shopping cart?

    I visited http://regalities.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal, and I receive the message: “PayPal IPN Request Failure.” Is this a problem on my end and do I need to enable IPN? Or is this simply telling me that I don’t have IPN enabled?

    Sorry if this sounds confusing, I’m not really a tech person. I just know that PayPal is making changes to their systems later this month, and I want to be sure that my website has correctly integrated PayPal.
