Unable to view Categories

HI all,

I just installed a new theme (weaver extreme). All seems fine except that i cannot view categories. When i go to the categories page in wp-admin, the only options i see are: Edit | Quick Edit | Delete, the (view) is not available. When i try to put in the slug manually, it still doesnt come up (says page not found). Kindly advise. Thanks in advance!
