Ajax Login Plugin… QUIRK!
-
I installed the Ajax Login to my WP 2.3 script. I added Gallery 2 and integrated it via WPG2 coding. All went well, the Ajax Login worked nice, looked nice, everything seemed to be doing just fine.
But… I created a button at the top of my page that has a hard link http://mysite.com/gallery/main.php to my gallery application. When I login using the DEFAULT wp-login form I can (after login) click that direct link, go to my gallery page and be LOGGED IN.
If I use the Ajax Login, login and then click the same button, it takes me to the GALLERY home page, but… I am not LOGGED IN.
Now… I have eight thumbnails on the WP Home Page and if I login using Ajax Login, then click on one of the EMBEDDED thumbails created by WPG2, it takes me to the gallery page or actually one of the albums or images and I am simultaniously logged in to the gallery. But ONLY if I click one of the WPG2 embedded thumbnails first.
Sign in WP-Login page, click http://mysite.com/gallery/main.php it automatically logs me into the WP home page AS WELL AS the GALLERY HOME PAGE.
Do the SAME THING with Ajax Login and it logs me into the WP Home Page, but when I click the http://mysite.com/gallery/main.php link… I am not logged into the Gallery home page.
I hope I stated the issue clearly enough to understand.
What do I need to do to the Ajax Login to make it SIMULTANIOUSLY log me into the WP Home Page AS WELL AS the GALLERY 2 Home Page????
The WP-LOGIN script is doing something that the Ajax Login script is not.
