same issue here…. nothing has changed or updated on our site since this start happening as far as i know.
Please upgrade to the Dev version of the plugin; there’s a bug fix in it which should fix this issue.

same problem here… (with the regular wp.org plugin repo version). Will try the dev version and report back
I was having this problem too. It seemed to only manifest with recurring events. I followed the instructions above for upgrading to 5.6.0.1 and it fixed the problem.
