Today's date in sidebar

    I installed a plugin called “Today’s Date” which allows you to have today’s date display anywhere on the site using a shortcode. I tried to add it to a “text” widget in the sidebar, but it threw an error, so I’m guessing a shortcode won’t work in the text widgets. Is there any way to get today’s date to display in a sidebar? My client likes to have the line “product in stock today, (Month/Day/Year)” displayed in a sidebar on his site.

    Longevity actually supports shortcodes in the text widget, but if you are getting an error, it’s best to contact the developer’s support for that plugin if this relates to that one.
