No API Key

    Armed with the knowledge that I spent several minutes looking at my profile, does anyone know where the API is actually hidden?

    http://wordpress.com/api-keys/

    Go to wordpress.COM. That’s “COM”.

    Sign up for an account there. It will give you a free blog on wordpress.com, but you don’t have to use it.

    The API key is on your profile at wordpress.COM. Not on your own website.

    This seems completely backwards due to the fact that akisnet is automatic if you have the wordpress hosted blog and don’t actually need a key.

    But of course it worked.
