• Dear All,

I have Created my site in multi-site in sub directory mode ex: example.com/user1, example.com/user2 etc. and this link is the cloning of main site which is example.com that cloning i achieve through the NS-Cloner Plugin that’s all the thing going right way but my problem is that all the sub directory link(example.com/user1,example.com/user2 etc.) has use there own table and the link treat as independent means once i want to do some changes in main site then i have do that same changes in each sub directory independently but i want to create that all the site is manage through the centralize site that is main site(example.com).

Is there any way to create my multisite in centralized manner not independently.

    Thanks In Advanced.

  • That is not how WordPress MultiSite works. In multisite, each site has its own tables.

NS Cloner will only clone a site when you first create it. It will not keep it cloned.

Why would you want to do this? What is the purpose of your websites?

Hello Frans, Thanks for replying me

Actually i want a solution where i can change the content or design in main site and it will be reflect that changes in all replicated site.

    For example:

My main site- example.com if i change any design or content in this site then it has to be reflected in replicated site (example.com/user1,example.com/user2).

Hope you will response me soon.

Again: Why would you want to do this? What is the purpose of your websites?

We are creating a MLM website where we have to create individual site for each members(approximate 600 members across) and also we have to manage that all the site from our end(main site). Currently we had created the 50 sites of main site through NS-cloner, now we have to manage that all 50 sites through a single site, and we don’t want to go in each individual admin panel of each site for changing the same content or design.

Is there any alternative solution of NS-cloner or this situation because Ns-Cloner creates individual tables for each site.

I hope you get it what i m trying to explain.

    Thanks

You don’t want to do make websites that way!

First of all – what you want to do is not something multisite was made for and i doubt that it would ever work.

Second – Your page might be degraded if you have the exact same content across multiple domains. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66359?hl=en

In any case – You don’t need multisite.

    Hello Frans,

I think we are not able to put across our query properly to you.Hence would share my requirement of the site with you and then you can propose me a better solution using wordpress.

We sale health supplement through multi-level-marketing where each of our affiliate receives a personalize website (www.example.com/username)where username correspondes to a particular affiliate.

Are you saying by doing so our site will be degraded by Google.?

We have designed a master website for the sale of supplement and clone it for various affiliate as required, where each has a different sub-domain(www.example.com/username1).

    Queries:
    1) Is there a way by which we can do changes in all our affiliate site from one wp-admin?
    2) Can we have a common database(table) for all the clone website?

If you think we are following wrong approach than please suggest the best way to achieve this. Its an affiliate marketing web application.

Thanks for bearing with us and replying promptly to our queries.

    Regards,
    Vaibhav
