    Hi,
    I’m trying to setup my own home and blog page layout.

    So I set 2 static sites in my wordpress settings.

    Now the “problems”:

    At my home page I want to get the latest blog posts like if I set the front page to “latest posts”. I could add “latest posts” in virtue settings (Homepage Layout Manager) but I may want the other layout for now. Is there any shortcode for this?

    Then I want to disable the whole sidebar in my blog view. But I can’t change the template settings anymore when I set my blog to a static page. Is it using a default wordpress template for this?

    Hey,
    1. There is in the premium theme but not for free. For free you have to have your front page set as the post page for that layout to show.

    2. Yes if you set your blog page as the post page in your settings > reading then it will override the template. Just leave that on select in your settings > reading. You don’t need to set it.

    1: Okay, I think I can work with the latest post option right now. Added some custom css and it looks good. 🙂

    2: Good to know that I don’t need to select it. Did it like you described it and it works like a charm now.
