Mysql error when Cloning site

I am trying to make a clone of my production environment locally and when I import the backup my site breaks, WP_DEBUG shows it is an sql header error.
My production site is running MySQL 5.6 and Php 5.4, my test site is running MariaDB 10 and PHP 5.6.
