Hi @lucy88cy,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I just took a look at your site using the URL you provided on the screenshot (http://simposell.com/product/daniel-wellington-%CF%81%CE%BF%CE%BB%CF%8C%CE%B9-dw-watch/), and it appears that you do not have the open graph image assigned for this page. If the og:image tag is not present, the plugin will try to select an image to represent the post or page. To verify, I ran the URL into the Facebook debugger and received this message (screenshot): http://www.screencast.com/t/DyjvN22G
Here’s a helpful support document that will help you troubleshoot this issue: http://support.shareaholic.com/hc/en-us/articles/200471606-Troubleshooting-Facebook-sharing-issues
Hopefully this info is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Mary Anne
hello i did install the plugin WordPress Social Sharing Optimization (WPSSO) and disable the open graph protocole from advance settings of the shareaholic manager tab. but still the same problem
i have also tried SEO by Yoast but still the same
Hi @lucy88cy – sorry for the delay. I may have to consult my engineers on this one. I still see that you do not have any og:image tags defined in your post.
Have you tried doing it the other way and uninstalling the WPSSO to see if that works?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Mary Anne
@lucy88cy
If you use WPSSO and are having issues with a post/page not sharing an image correctly, open a new thread in the WPSSO forum and I’ll have a look. Don’t forget to include a URL to an example post/page, and describe the issue on that specific post/page.
Please note that WPSSO checks image sizes and aspect ratios to make sure appropriate images are shared. Images that are too small etc. are rejected/ignored and a warning message is displayed on the editing page (so you may correct the issue).
Also make sure you check the Setup Guide included with WPSSO – it contains many useful hints, including submitting a few of your posts/pages to various online tools to make sure your meta tags etc. are all correct.
