Cannot resolve two issues

Hey all-

I am working with the modality theme. I know I am supposed to get theme support but I’ve contacted the developer in every format a few times and absolutely no response.

I cannot get feature images to load. Nothing happens when I try.

Under the modality customizer, I see that option to edit a section but that section is not actually visible.

I’ve basically been stuck for two weeks waiting for the dev with no luck. Any advice would be *so* appreciated.
