Godaddy WordPress No Update Required Loop

    My website was previously displaying the error message “Error establishing a database connection.” I fixed this by checking my SQL login credentials. Now instead the website just appears as a blank page. As well as this, the /wp-admin page has a “No Update Required, Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!” loop that leads back to my other domain.

    I have tried clearing the cache on my browser, using a different browser, clearing the cache folder of the website in godaddy hosting manager. I also tried deleting the current theme to see if it would revert to the default theme and then work.

    The other website is working fine.

    I am using godaddy and wordpress.

    I can’t find any other solutions online. Does anyone know what I can try? Please talk to me like a 5 year old – I’m very new to this.
