how to hide category title?

    i have a page with posts from certain category, i want the posts to show up with a title but without the category title. i tried css codes i found from answers to people who asked similar question on this forum but all the codes failed to hide the category title.

    i am using Simple Custom CSS plugin, does it matter?. how should i know what css code to enter in order to hide the category title?

    Do you need it for all category titles? Can you share a link to your site so I can look at the code and provide you with the proper CSS?
