After using new database media libary empty

    Hi,

    We used a fresh database for our client. All folders on the FTP stayed the same.

    All images are showing on our website. BUT not in the media libary.

    When we check a file path they are on the server BUT not in the media libary.

    How can we solve this?

    The meida library works off database entries, and not the files in the various folders. So when you get a new database, you loose all of the data about any files in the media library.

    There are some plugins out there that will add the images back into the media library for you, but as I haven’t used any of these before I can’t recommend any. You should do a search or two in the Plugins repository and I’m sure you’ll find something for that.
