Using wordpress for an ads Website

I decided to build an ad service with wordpress. I was wondering if its not a good idea? I think its great because of all the plugins that wordpress provides and the extra pages it gives.

I am also wondering how I can set up a payment section. All the clients has to do is send in their info to get their ads through. Any ideas or does wordpress have a plugin to do this?
