• Hi, I’m new to WP and new to iThemes Security. I’ve just installed it and thought I’d activated the High Priority items but when I looked at the table headed ‘WordPress File Permissions’, there are three items with ‘Warning’ written beside them. I don’t know how to deal with these items. They are;
    wp-content/uploads Suggestion = 0755 Value 0755
    wp-config.php Suggestion = 444 Value 0644
    .htaccess Suggestion = 444 Value 0644

    I logged into my web hosting site and looked at my root directory. I can find wp-content/uploads and one of the folders in it is iThemes Security but I can’t see what it is I have to do then. I can find wp-config.php but again, don’t know what to do. From what I’ve seen, I have a number of files called htaccess … all in all, I’m lost! Can anyone help please? What I need is a Mickey Mouse Guide to setting up iThemes Security!
