• I am having huge issues trying to access WordPress. When I try and access the login page (using wp-admin and wp-login.php) I am frequently getting this error message:

    Connection to 50.87.248.243 Failed

If I do manage to get to the login page, everything runs extremely slowly and I can only navigate to a couple of areas before that same error returns.

If I get into a post, as soon as I type into the text box I get a message at the top saying that the connection has been lost and I am unable to save anything.

I’ve only recently moved from Blogger to WordPress and am struggling with all the technical info, so I have no idea what could be causing this. I tried deleting a plugin I’d installed yesterday, thinking that could be the cause, but it’s not made any difference. Could it be something to do with my host (BlueHost)? My site isn’t even live at the moment (I took it offline to fix all the formatting problems that came from migrating the content from Blogger) and these problems are stopping me getting back online.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Have you reached out to the host? It could very well be a server setup issue.

I haven’t – I will contact them and ask about it. I only bought hosting with them last week so perhaps I didn’t set it up right.

    Thank you.
