    Hello There,

Only since your last update the checkout no longer works. When I click in the box office to buy, the following error message occurs:

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

If I turn off their plugin, everything works without error. All plugins, WC and WP are up to date.

    WP: 4.3
    WC: 2.4.5
WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips: 1.5.21

I hope they can help me quickly on.

    Hello,
This plugin doesn’t do anything in the checkout, and certainly does not use JSON.
I think it could be two things:
    1) There is a conflict with another plugin that is somehow involving the PDF invoice plugin in the checkout.
    2) The error was always there, but the plugin may be crashing for another reason and this is why the error shows (normally would be hidden from sight if the woocommerce continued). If you are using WPML, this may be caused by the last WPML update, see https://wpml.org/forums/topic/settings-in-woocommerce-pdf-invoices-plugin-get-reset-to-default-values/ for more information.

Let me know if that helps!

    Hello there,
So currently I turn in a circle. Here is a list of plugins that I have run:
    ### Active Plugins (22) ###

    Akismet: von Automattic – 3.1.3
WooCommerce Custom Order Status & Actions: von Actuality Extensions – 1.6.9
Cookie Law Info: von Richard Ashby – 1.5.3
createIT Waitlist Plugin: von createIT – 1.3
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP: von Alin Marcu – 4.8.1.3
    Regenerate Thumbnails: von Viper007Bond – 2.2.4
SUMO Reward Points: von Fantastic Plugins – 11.1.4
Slider WD: von WebDorado – 2.0.35
Vendidero Helper: von Vendidero – 1.0.2
WooCommerce Advanced Review Reminder: von kodemann.com – 1.6.4
WooCommerce Custom Product Tabs Lite: von SkyVerge – 1.3.0
WooCommerce Email Validation: von Hugh Lashbrooke – 1.2.8
WooCommerce Germanized: von Vendidero – 1.3.7
WooCommerce Payment Methods: von vendocrat – 1.1.2
Reminder for WooCommerce Unpaid Orders: von MB Création – 2.4
WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips: von Ewout Fernhout – 1.5.21
WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping: von Bolder Elements – 3.6.4
WooCommerce TM Extra Product Options: von themecomplete – 4.1.6
    WooCommerce: von WooThemes – 2.4.5
Yoast SEO: von Team Yoast – 2.3.4
YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search: von Yithemes – 1.3.6
YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking: von Yithemes – 1.0.4

Once I disable the plugin “SUMO Reward Points” everything goes normal. If I activate this plugin again and deselect “WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips” working again everything. I Activate course all as it gets and it always comes this error message. The author of “SUMO Reward Points” had me already written that it is not due to his plugin but this here. WPML I do not use.

It could also simply be a memory issue, and the extra plugin in one too many. What’s you memory limit? You can see this in the status tab of the plugin.

    WordPress Memory Limit: 96 MB
    Should I increase it?

    Same Error with

    WordPress Memory Limit: 256 MB

I’m flat out of ideas on this one. It could still be the php memory limit (which always overrules the WP Memory Limit), although I don’t think that’s the case here.

Besides the SUMO rewards points plugin, have you tried disabling others too? (I would check: Email Validation, Payment Methods and Ajax Search first).
Again, I can’t see any connection to the PDF Invoice plugin, as it doesn’t do anything in the checkout (it only attaches a PDF to an email) and it doesn’t use JSON either.

Can I check this out live?

So WP Memory is set in the config at 256MB. PHP Memory is in the php.ini also at 256MB. That should be enough actually. Before everything had still works. Yes. Have all plugins gradually disabled and tested the checkout. Only when these two plugins is the error. Here is the shop I just construction. Since you can test it with a test order.

I tried placing a test order, but it gave me an error about SEPA and wouldn’t let me continue. “Bitte erteilen Sie das SEPA Lastschriftmandat.”
How do I get around this?

Sorry, there was a bug of another plugin (WooCommerce Germanized: von Vendidero). Even after the update it has not worked. Now I have this plugin here once deactivated, deleted and another invoice plugin installed. Now everything goes back. Sorry but then lay it here on this plugin. Thank you anyway.

No problem, glad you found another solution!
