    How do I change the colour of the transparent navigation menu bar to a lighter colour. For my background image it is too dark. What is the easiest way to change the colour without adding a plugin? Thank you

    I found out.

    Go to Appearences > Editor > go to Stylesheet in child theme and add following code. Change opacity to whatever you’d like.

    #header {
    opacity: 0.6;
    z-index:999999;
    }
