Latest reCaptcha update pulls site down…

Just update WP to the latest version 4.3 and had to update reCaptcha plugin as well as some others.

It has now brought two of my sites down with this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/howie/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bwp-recaptcha/includes/provider/abstract-provider.php on line 131

I had to remove the plugin completely through our cPanel on both sites to restore the site. Anyone else having this issue? On one site there is only 5 plugins totally being used and the other site has many. So I don’t think it is a conflict with other plugins. Has to be an error in the update code.
