    this update is messed up. my sidebar widgets are not showing anymore. statistics and shopbop widgets disappeared. what happened?!

    Switch to one of the default themes and see if the problem is solved.

    If so, you will need to update your theme to work with the latest WordPress version.

    tried to switch themes, same problem. so it is either the wordpress update that is affecting the two widgets. they were working fine before. and it is only these two widgets that has the problem. others are working fine.

    Did you try reinstalling the 2 widgets?

    yes and it is still not working.
