If you re-upload an the images do they look the same?

What theme are you using on your website?
Is there any exact height and width the image must be?

I’m not sure if I know what you mean.
I’ve tried resizing the image to the exact width of the content area (which is like 700 or something) but the image still got that weird resize=780% and bad quality.
Normally I upload my images with a width of 800 px.
The weird thing is that everything was just fine before the update.

Unfortunately the problem isn’t the theme, I’ve already tried using another theme and the problem was still there.
In the media library and the post editor the pictures still look good, but they don’t look good on the site. Weird, right?
Maybe there is some resizing code in one of your files. Have you tried deactivating all of you plugins?

I can’t thank you enough, the problem was indeed in a plugin. Soo stupid of me to not check them. It was Jetpack Photon. I guess they’ve made a change in their plugin.
