editing html with ftp connection

Hello , using total commander to connect to ftp server of a site which is running/using wordpress theme. Im to edit some texts in html , but i fail to find html in the files. I know that html is generated with php in wordpress, i tried to open all files and search for texts im supposed to edit but it didnt find anything. So my question is , where is this html generated by php located? Which php file is generating html? Thanks for answer. I can provide screenshot if needed
