wysiwyg theme editor too high

I am working on a laptop and in Appearance > Editor, the wysiwyg theme editor window too high. To update, I have to scroll down to click the “Update File” button every time and then it defaults to the top of the screen.

I have resized the theme editor window to a smaller height using the resizer in the bottom-right corner, but every time I update the file, the window resizes larger again.

Is there a way to make the height less and keep it that way?
