    Hello,
I have set my site sidebar to Home Widget Area.. I do not see it located anywhere on the home screen.
If I go to a page another page I see it.
But what I see is a search bar (Don’t need that because it is in the header menu)
    Recent Comments (Don’t Need)
    Archives (Don’t Need)
    Categories (Don’t Need)
    Meta (Don’t Need)

How do I change this information to be both on the home screen and all pages but I want to have say an AdSense widget and maybe something else located in that.

Also, very important I need this sidebar to “lock” when the user scrolls up and down. so it stays with where the user is on the page.

I have the Premium Virtue Theme.

  • Hey,
You would need to edit what is in your primary sidebar widget. In your appearance > widgets page.

From your site it looks like you just added a recent posts widget in the home widget area.

There isn’t an option for a sticky sidebar. Might be able to add a plugin that adds that type of functionality. i’ve not see one.

Thanks, I got it down on how to change out the sidebar now!

Problem now is what setting have i crossed here to have the sidebar located on the left and the right on the home page?

Only need it to be on the right

Hey, Just need to then disabled the home widget area. That isn’t a sidebar it’s a content area you can add widgets into the page content on your home page.

Nvm I got it under Theme Options > Misc Settings. I can add new sidebars there. Also, added the plugin Q2W3 Fixed Widget which lets me fix the sidebar to follow with the scroll. All you do it add the plugin and go to Appearance > widget and click on each widget added and check off the fixed item check box.
