And oh! Forgot to ask about translation. Is it possible to translate the plugin using the CodeStyling Localization plugin?

Should be possible, yes. Or you could manually edit the .po and .mo files with something like PoEdit: http://www.wpultimaterecipe.com/docs/translating-plugin
