Using WP as a “Client Area”
-
Our company has a server, which we direct clients of ours to go to a web site to view the work that we’re doing for them. Typically, it’s an HTML page that we have to create and put on the server, and the client has to know the exact name of the HTML page in order to see the work.
We’re thinking that it may be possible to utilize WordPress as a Client Area, where clients can log into their account, and then it takes them to a sub-domain or folder where all of their work can be seen. Each different piece of work we do will be a different blog post, where the clients can comment on the work.
Is this possible to do with WordPress alone, or would I be better off using WPMU?
Has anyone tried something similar to this, and is it a successful means of a “Client Area”? or if you have a better solution, I would appreciate the advice! Thanks!
