    Hi,

I can no longer edit my home page. I see this error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 421475 bytes) in /home/ausw7332/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 291

Does anyone know what this is? It doesn’t make any sense to me. I have been changing and editing themes.

    cheers, Bruce

First off, try increasing memory available for php.

Thanks Tara, I have increased to 96 but no change in the response. I may need to check with the IP.

Also, check the error logs on your server for any specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

Hi, many thanks for your help on this. I have contacted the IP but not sure how quickly I can expect a response. I went in to look at the number of MySQL db’s that I had and have cleaned up 2 that were not needed (previous installs). So far, that doesn’t seem to have changed the memory problem, so I will have to wait for a response from the IT. cheers, Bruce
