I hired a vendor to convert my website to an adaptive design and now I’m trying to figure out WordPress. I am learning, but there is so much to WP that at times I’m overwhelmed.

I’m trying to get webmaster tools to verify http://www.rv-camping.org.

I currently have the meta tag in my header file and verified it’s there checking the home page browser source code. When trying to verify via Google webmaster tools, I get an “unable to connect to your server” error.

I’ve tried the WP Google plugin for the meta tag with the same result.

I initially tried the Google html verification file method, but it fails too. When trying to access the file from a browser, it went to my 404 redirect page.

    Any help would be appreciated!
