    Hi guys !
    I don’t know what happened on my blog – after I installed 1.2 mingus and started to modify it, all the (german) “Umlaute” ( ä, ö and ü) look like totally crap (that means, only the two points of every “Umlaut” are showing !).
    Check it out for yourself:

    In the menu the Umlaute don’t showing, in the testpost they do.
    (For imformation, no plugin is activated !)
    Please Help 🙁

    Sounds like a css problem to me, but I am not specialist in CSS or special characters. Try changing the css rules for the text elements in the menu that get screwed up. Try changing them to be the same as that for the post text.

    mmmh… but there aren’t modified text-elements in the menu. Look at this:
    #menu {
    background: #041432;
    border-left: 1px dotted #ccc;
    border-right: 1px dotted #ccc;
    border-top: 0;
    padding: 1px 0 10px 18px;
    position: absolute;
    right: 10px;
    top: 154px;
    width: 12em;
    }
    And the look of my posts isn’t modified, too.
    🙁

    Your choice of letter-spacing makes the site almost unreadable for me.

    Maybe I am missing something but from where I sit words like “Einführung” look fine.

    Bei mir (Win SP1 Home Firefox .8) sieht’s gut aus.
    Was ist deine Browserversion?
