Will this plugin break with WP4.3?

I’m sorry if this has already been asked, but I’ve not noticed it.

According to the changes being implemented and the information here https://gist.github.com/chriscct7/d7d077afb01011b1839d then it looks like the plugin may not function correctly if updating to 4.3 (from 18th August).

Is this likely to happen? What will the consequences be? Will there be an update ready in time?
