What I was attempting: Establishing a new static homepage on my website, moonstruckquest.com

What happened: I foolishly set the URL of my whole site (not just as a static page) to what I thought was an established page, moonstruckquest.com/site/
(it is *now* but I just created this basic page via DreamHost .html file; it should have been a page that I created in WordPress)

My Dashboard suddenly did not recognize me and gave me the boot directly after I saved this and now I’m unsure how to fix it. I cannot access the WP admin panel the log in page.

My website, moonstruckquest.com is up (caught between 2 themes because this is what triggered everything)

I don’t know if there is a file I can manually edit within my DreamHost directory (the master WordPress files) to correct the info.
Do I just simply move my WordPress files from their current directory to the /site/ directory. Any help is appreciated.

Pointing and laughing optional & understood.
