Do you login details of your Hosting account ? If so, do you know about phpmyadmin stuff ?

1. Go to your database through phpmyadmin
2. Open wp_users
3. Find the user and press ‘edit’
4. Edit user_pass, using MD5 function type is obligatory
5. Sign in using your new password

I have been unable to login to my site for a couple days now. No matter what i try, my email is unrecognised – ive tried every email i have and still recieve no email to reset my password.
What do i do?!

If you do go with that method please make sure you backup any files you modify first before you edit them.

Thanknyou, it turns out the guy who made my site still has all access! so i always have to go through him to change passwords if i forget. My email isnt associated with the site either :/
Anyway to change this?

After getting login, go to
-Users > Find users one may be with your username
-> Edit it, scroll down and change the email.

I reset my password recently. When I then logged in successfully, I changed my email address.
Since then, NOTHING is recognised.
My account name, neither my email address as before nor the new one
Digeratic suggests:

But I have no idea what phpmyadmin is.
nor MD5 function type
How do I get in without a user name that won’t work? I know both user name, the email and my password but NONE of them are working! ARRRRGHHGHGHGHG!
