newbie trying to learn json

    I hope someone can help.

    I have my site working pretty well.

    I focus on a local niche subject.

    I’m trying to take it to the next step via using some JSON api data.

    I use name.com for hosting. My plan includes all the WordPress files being on their servers. I’ve been learning php and can’t add a function or anything without changing my plan.

    Is that a reason why I can’t get shortcode or anything to work properly? I only get error messages like data not available or 404.

    I’ve been trying to pull api data from a bunch of sites on mashape.com and more specifically from a local site aggrenda.com.

    Is there any advice out there?
