I am using “WordPress Related Posts”
Yep I have exactly the same thing. I have deactivated everything except Related posts.
However, when I copy and paste the link from the thumbnail, I also get an identical error message
I get this message:
“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@davefagg.com.au and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Be good to have a fix
Hey Dave,
about this 500 internal server error: the thing is that if you see this kind of error, then your web server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request by the client for access to the requested URL. This is a ‘catch-all’ error generated by your web server. Basically something has gone wrong, but the server can not be more specific about the error condition in its response to the client. In addition to the 500 Internal Server Error notified back to the client, the Web server should generate some kind of internal error log which gives more details of what went wrong. It is up to the operators of your Web server site (in your case, you) to locate and analyse these logs.
We would like to take a look at those logs too, if possible (to see if the problem is related to the plugin).
Looking forward to your reply,
Petra
