open page in new tab

    so let’s say i’m on a page that i want to keep open, yet i want to also open a new page

    i’d like wp jump menu to let me call up that new page, but open it in a new tab

    i’ve tried command clicking on it (how i normally open a link in a new tab) but that does not seem to work.

    any ideas?

    I feel like I tried to implement this a few years back and it wasn’t working for some reason.

    A quick workaround would be to very quickly command+click on another link in WordPress (like the Pages admin page) and then in the new tab, quickly use the jump menu.

    Sure, it adds about 5 seconds of having to use the jump menu on the new tab – but that’s not so bad I think.
