menu organization

I am finding I am not able to re-order my menu items. I have created a new menu and added various items. The “Home” button included(?) with the theme doesn’t appear on the nav bar. That is OK. I made a “Home” page thinking that might help and/or make a difference.
The other nav items such as “About” and “Contact”, stay in the same order regardless of what I do. I am saving any new menu changes.
I did try to do some dropdown nav buttons just to see if anything made a difference. No difference; no changes.
Using the Unlimited theme.
Thoughts???
