Database Admin Account for Installing WP using Web Platform Installer 5.0

    I’m trying to follow the instructions on how to install WP using the Web Platform installer on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine.

    Before I go into the details of the WP install, some things I should mention. I have installed DotNetNuke using WPI before. Prior to installing DNN, MS SQL Server was already installed, I enabled the ‘sa’ account and I changed the server authentication mode to mixed. In the Web Platform Installer, I specify within the installer “Enable remote database support” and the remote database server name so when I install DNN, I select SQL Server (remote: server) as the type of database and the default database admin account shows as ‘sa’.

    Now when I try to install WP, I can still select SQL Server (remote: server) as the type of database but the default database admin account always shows as ‘root’. Is there a way to change the database admin account or to recover the password?
