• Hi there! Your plugin seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but I didn’t manage to make it work:

    [CBC country="FR" show="y"]Bonjour! [/CBC][CBC country="ES" show="y"]¡Hola! [/CBC]

These are the shortcodes I placed in my post. On settings I’ve activated:

    • Enable Content by Country Feature
    • Enable Content By Country Developer Mode
    • HTML Off mode turns off HTML printing by default
    • Turns off page caching for shortcodes

I’m in Spain currently, and I don’t see the “Hola”. I set my IP in Paris with Hide my Ass and I don’t see the “Bonjour” neither.

Is there any way to update the IP database? Maybe there’s something wrong with its installation…

    Thanks!

I’ve updated the database to the latest release (yesterday). Perhaps try installing the upgrade and see if it resolves your problem.

Otherwise, you can debug the plugin using the shortcodes:
    CBC_COUNTRY
    CBC_CODE
    CBC_IP

and see what the plugin is currently detecting. If you have a page caching plugin running, try disabling it for now.

Hi! Thanks for your answer. Actually, when installing the IP database I run into the “Internal Server Error”, so I’ll assume that the plugin is not properly installed and that’s why is not identifying the IPs.

Maybe changing the PHP timeout will solve this? I’ll talk to the hosting.

    Thanks again!

You could import the SQL directly using something phpmyadmin…

Are you sure you’ve set the very first setting on? This will enable the plugin feature.
