Bio showing up twice

Hi I wonder if there is some workaround for the author bio (that was provided on the individual user page) is showing up twice on an author’s author page. If I remove it nothing whatever shows up in the starbox but if I need it, it appears twice if you click on the author’s link.

this is definitely tied to the starbox plugin since removing it removes it from starbox as well.
