    Hi all,

    What happens to the wordpress.com account when you import everything to a wordpress.org account on your own hosting?

    Does it mean that when i update my wordpress.org blog on my hosting, it will also auto update on my wordpress.com account? Or those it mean that my wordpress.com account will no longer be there anymore?

    I need my wordpress.com account to be still running while i re-do the css and stuff on the wordpress.org account on my hosting. Is it possible?

    1. Just for the sake of clarity. You do NOT have a wordpress.ORG account – other than posting here in the forum!
    2. No, your self-hosted blog and your wp.COM blog have nothing to do with each other. They do NOT update each other. They live independently.
    3. The old wp.COM blog will be there as long as they don’t close it; but that happens only if you don’t behave 🙂 [likeusing it in an improper way – read the TOS). It can run for years after you have your own blog…
