Did you check to make sure the htaccess files don’t have any rules we added? You could also try using an online proxy server to get in. Once you do, I’d install the wordfence assistant plugin and choose the option to delete all tables and data to completely remove anything wordfence related.

I had already checked the htaccess file, so the code in there was good. So I tried to log in again just now. As soon as I enter in my username and password, I’m immediately routed to the locked out screen. We have WF set to 5 attempts, and I’m not even given one. Not sure how this is locking me out when it’s been deleted.
I am locked out… and i receive no email to regain access… can you help?
@linkzero Can you start your own topic so we can keep the issues separate?
@sdeardorff Can you email me at wftest [@] wordfence.com

Thanks for getting back to me. Apparently this client is no longer hosted with us, which we weren’t told. Never mind then, but thank you!
I’m also locked out and do noy understand why. I’ve tried logging in from a different computer and I’m immediately told that I’ve made too many attempts. Please help.
@family Doorway Can you make sure an open a new post about issues? The mods get irritable about that and it helps us track issues better. Not to mention that different setups and hosting providers, etc can lead to very different root causes.
If you are logging on from multiple computers from different IP addresses (not 2 computers behind the same router like at home) then you might have an issue where all IPs are reported as the webserver’s own IP. This can be fixed by changing the setting in “How wordfence gets its IPs” on the options page.
