    not necessarily

    the API Key only works with public calendars – so it should work also with other people’s calendars as long as their calendars are public (viewable on the internet)

    in the future we will add a support for OAuth, which allows to manage also your private calendars

    ps there’s a limit to the number of requests you can make every day and per minute, so if multiple people are sharing the same key there’s a possibility that Google refuses to process a request if it has got too many authenticating with that key
