Customizr 3.3.28

Im using Customizr theme on a not for profit site. I need help hiding the site credits that appear below the footer.
I know there a few snippets of code available but that hasnt helped.

Please provide me a step by step instruction to get rid of this. The trouble is Ive done lots of customization already and it will be a pity If i have to migrate my entire site to another theme because of this issue.
