Having Trouble With Links – 404

    Hello All,

    Recently, my site has stopped working. I have the Multisite Language Switcher set up for English and Spanish sites which was working for a while. The images are no longer working as well.

    When I try to go either site, I get 404 messages. The images are on the webserver however they are not loading from the permalinks. I have tried resetting the permalinks and re-submitting the info for the various sites, but this has not worked.

    How can I further troubleshoot? I need to get these sites up and working as soon as possible.

    Just for troubleshooting, I tried to create another site and once created, I try to visit it and still get a 404 error message.

    Please check first Settings > Permalinks and – if this has no effect – deactivate all plugins and check if this changes something. After that reactivate the plugins one by one … and check which one causes the error.
